Our only effective remedy is to make the 10/2 jury laws retroactive.
NOW not LATER!
Speak up, speak out to lawmakers and government officials to rid the State of Louisiana the use of the 10/2 law that is still affecting black people. There are nearly 1600 incarcerated people still fighting for equality and justice from this Unconstitutional law.

We are a coalition of prisoners and allies.
The 10-2 Committee was established by prisoners in Louisiana with unconstitutional split-jury (also known as 10-2) verdicts. Our goal is to form a coalition of supporters to build momentum leading up to the 2024 Louisiana Legislative session, beginning March 11th, 2024.
Louisiana must create a viable remedy for everyone who remains incarcerated with a "Jim Crow" verdict, propelled more than a century ago by white supremacy and xenophobia.
We, as prisoners, have to muster up the support of advocates to speak out and shed light on Louisiana’s desire to uphold the legacy of Jim Crow.
To right this historical wrong, we must rally the world to speak truth to the State of Louisiana — to demand justice and equality for all.
